Stanley SL18127P 2.5-Gallon Hang-Up and Portable Poly Wet/Dry Vacuum Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Cord, hose connection and exhaust outlet all on the same side.
Exhaust blows on you as you vaccum and electrical cord tangles with hose as you use it.
Very stiff hose and product is very tipsy when in use.

Shop-vac Corp. 5852600 WET and DRY Vacuum 16 Gal Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought it from Ace Hardware on Black Friday for forty dol and like it A LOT. I hope it lasts a long time. This is one of the "Quiet Plus" series of Shop-vacs and it is pleasantly quiet indeed; I don't even think about hearing protection while running it.
I used it the first time on a garage floor where snow melting off cars formed pools of water. It did great job sucking up the water. And the draining plug is just perfect: it is large, easy to unscrew and in the right place.
The overall construction is lightweight but seems sturdy. So, if only the motor doesn't quit too soon this will be a winner.

Stanley SL18130 5-Gallon Portable Stainless Steel Wet/Dry Vacuum Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this from Menards for around $50. It has great suction and easily cleans up water, dust, drywall, even snow or ice.
My only complaint is I cannot for the life of me find replacement filters for it. Stanely's own website doesn't even list this model, so I'm at a loss as to how to replace my blue filter that goes over the foam one. If anyone knows where to locate these please share as I don't want my motor to break due to the resistance caused by a clogged air intake.
If it weren't for this issue I'd give it 5 stars but honestly if the company's own website cannot locate model SL18130 or even a 5 gallon shop-vac, what am I supposed to do?
