(More customer reviews)I bought it from Ace Hardware on Black Friday for forty dol and like it A LOT. I hope it lasts a long time. This is one of the "Quiet Plus" series of Shop-vacs and it is pleasantly quiet indeed; I don't even think about hearing protection while running it.
I used it the first time on a garage floor where snow melting off cars formed pools of water. It did great job sucking up the water. And the draining plug is just perfect: it is large, easy to unscrew and in the right place.
The overall construction is lightweight but seems sturdy. So, if only the motor doesn't quit too soon this will be a winner.
