(More customer reviews)I suspect the tank on this vacuum probably would hold a gallon and a half, but what they don't tell you is that it looks like they use the same filter they put in their larger vacuums. It takes up almost all of the tank space in this one. There can't be more than a half inch around the outside of the filter. That said, I have found it useful; I just have to empty the tank often.
