(More customer reviews)As far as the value aspect of this filter, it is mainly in that it can be vacummed and put back in. And as long as no tears occur in the filter media it will pay for itself over time. Most dealers and online OEM sellers sell the factory filter for about $20. So it pays for itself in about 40K miles, assuming you would change a paper OEM filter every 20K.
As far a performance and mileage increases, I have not noticed any. In fact I think my MPG's went down a touch.(.5 or so) There is no noticeable increase in performance, just more intake roar (noise). In fact the moaning sound it produces on steady highway runs, made me put my Toyota OEM back in to reduce the roar.
So, 5 stars for the potential money savings, and 1 star for the performance,MPG and noise issues.
