(More customer reviews)I've used the Mr. Clean system for a number of years and find that it works quite well. Here in Denver, our water is very high quality and relatively soft so the so-called "starter" filter can last a bit longer than just three washes. Being frugal with it (I "paint" the car from top to bottom using the filtered spot-free rinse as a final rinse without overlapping) I can get six or more washes from one starter cartridge.
I don't recommend these over the regular cartridge, but here on Amazon the current price of those is outrageous (ca. $23 each) and they're becoming impossible to find in Wal-Mart and other retail outlets where they've been discontinued, so it might be a good choice.

The AutoDry Filter from Mr. Clean is for use with the Mr. Clean AutoDry Car Washing System and removes spot-causing minerals during your final rinse, allowing your car to dry in minutes before your eyes. It includes a filter life indicator that changes from black to brown when it's exhausted. The filter inserts easily into the Mr. Clean AutoDry device upon opening the quick-release door. The water filter removes water impurities which cause spots, even in hard water. This is a 3-use filter shipped in a pack of 5 disposable filters.
