i have had two of these batteries. the first battery i had was in a 2001 saturn SL2, and the only reason i dont have it anymore is because it was in an accident while i was away (parents+sister) and the car was "removed" from the scene and nobody took my expensive battery out! so i bought a second one when i got a new car. i have a 2003 Volkswagen GTi 1.8T. i have a bit of an aftermarket stereo with two 15" image dynamics IDQ15 subwoofers, and two memphis amplifiers. a memphis big-belle and a memphis 500.2. with my stereo cranked i have zero headlight dim, and thats with almost 2kw of amplifier power. but the biggest benefit from this battery that i have had was that it has never died on me. i just got back from my second deployment with the US navy and i let my car sit for an entire 7 months without being touched inside a locked garage with the battery hooked up the whole time. i opened it up, dusted her off and the first key-turn got my engine up and running again. that is an awesome battery!!! last time i came back from deployment i needed a jump, and thats the last thing anyone wants to deal with!!! the ONLY reason i give this battery 4 stars is because it ONLY HAS top posts. in my SL2 i needed side posts, and i needed to fabricate some L shaped buss-bars to allow the battery cables for the alternator\starter\fusebox\ground to reach. and it is a little bit bigger than the battery i had before so it didnt quite fit. i had to fabricate a new pressure-bar to keep the battery in place using threaded rod, some clip-nuts and a piece of aluminum with two wing-nuts. but if you need something this serious power, look no further!!!
